The Mobile Developer Jobs with the Highest Salaries in 2022
02/22/22 by Motion Recruitment
One of the fastest-growing industries in tech, the mobile app development market size is projected to reach over $400 billion by 2026. From cybersecurity and IoT to crypto, foldables and wearables to AI, mobile apps are one of the major touchpoints for many emerging technologies. This jump in demand inside mobile has naturally led to an increase in demand for mobile app developers, with the demand for the number of developers increasing by over 40% over the next four years.
“No matter the industry, mobile teams are growing as everyone wants to have the software in the palm of their hand,” said Nick Florez, Mobile Market Advisor at Motion Recruitment. “With the scarcity of experienced mobile developers, particularly in Android technologies, companies are even willing to pull from other budgets to prioritize getting the very best mobile developers.”
Along with the rest of the tech industry, those in mobile have seen their salaries rise over the past year. According to Motion’s 2022 Tech Salary Guide and 2022 State of Tech Employment (both available for free download today), tech workers in North America saw a pay jump of 9.5% on average year-over-year, with many cities seeing compensation hit double-digit increases across all fields.
