BOSTON (11/12/20)-
In the first ever North American and virtual ceremony, Motion Recruitment’s event series, Tech in Motion, has revealed all the winners of the 2020 Timmy Awards as the best in tech.

Even digitally, the evening was filled with well-renowned companies, hosts and presenters including Hall of Fame Speaker, Stephen Shapiro, the Founder of Siri, Adam Cheyer, the Engineering Director at Netflix Bruce Wang, and many others. Shapiro opened the evening with a discussion on finding innovation in all places. "Even during these very challenging times, these companies have been focused on innovation and making amazing things happen," said 2020 Timmy's host Stephen Shapiro during his keynote address.

Amid this year’s uncertainties, Motion and Tech in Motion made the decision to move forward with the annual Timmy Awards to highlight those doing great things for their employees and communities, but to pivot the Timmy Awards to an all virtual event. Motion and Tech in Motion’s goal was to digitally recognize those companies and individuals who exemplified resilience, agility and leadership throughout the evolving landscape.

“For five years, Motion Recruitment’s event series has recognized tech companies and managers that make an extraordinary effort to not only provide an encouraging work environment but continue to modernize,” said Motion Recruitment President, Matt Milano. “It is because of companies and leaders like these that Motion Recruitment develops alongside the tech industry, expanding our technology market specializations to better serve these high performing industries. We are excited to continue supporting Tech in Motion’s ongoing events and annual award ceremony, as it continues to highlight and enhance top companies, leaders and tech trends across North America.”

Our North American Winner's awarded and recognized during the live ceremony included: Valqari, Ro, Cetaris, Slalom Build, Neilson Canada, and Lauren Neal from Booz Allen Hamilton.
